National 7v7 Football Association announces first wave of 2013 events
Bradenton, Fla. (December 5, 2012) – The National 7v7 Football Association (NFA7v7) has announced its first wave of local sanctioned events and IMG 7v7 Regional Championships in 2013. Regional champions qualify for the IMG 7v7 National Championships at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., June 28-30, 2013. Events are assigned numerical star rankings (two through five stars) based on geographic location, tournament execution and strength of field. A two-star event meets basic operational standards and demonstrates an opportunity to grow. A five-star event, currently only the IMG 7v7 National Championships, portrays exceptional operational standards, provides multiple extracurricular and educational opportunities for players, coaches and parents, and demonstrates a national-level strength of field. The numerical star ranking for local sanctioned events is indicative of the number of teams that receive invites to their respective Regional Championship.
