What is the National 7v7 Football Association?

The National 7v7 Football Association (NFA7v7) is the governing body of 7v7 football dedicated to improving the game and providing improved playing opportunities, using consistent rules, and allowing players, coaches, media and spectators to take part in this great sport.

Why Join?

Most players and coaches join the association to find outstanding competition and play in tournaments at the highest level, however the benefits go far beyond.  There are multiple levels of membership to the NFA7v7:

  • Team Membership is $150 and provides a team access to register into multiple National Championship qualifying events. Once qualified, there isn't a fee for our National Championship so register now for a chance to earn your bid. For more information, click here.
  • Event Organizer Membership is for those members looking to conduct NFA7v7 Official Events. An official event micro-site, online registration capabilities and online media credentialing are just a few of the benefits associated with this membership. For more information, click here.

What age do you have to be to compete in the NFA7v7 Club Division? 

Player Membership is open to all current high school students under the age of 19 and have not yet started college. Students who have graduated from high school may only play until July 31 of the season directly following high school graduation regardless of age. All players will be required to produce a copy of their birth certificates for participation at the NFA7v7 National Championship.

What age do you have to be to compete in the NFA7v7 Future STARS Division?

To be eligible for the Future STARS division, players must be 15 years old or younger. If a player turns 16 on or before September 1 of that year, he is not eligible. All players will be required to produce a copy of their birth certificates for participation at the NFA7v7 National Championship.

The Future STARS division is not exclusive based on grade, as long as they meet the age requirements. This division is intended to include both 8th graders and freshmen in high school.

What tournaments can I play in with the National 7v7 Football Association?

Members can play in any NFA7v7 Official Tournaments. There will be a variety of Official Qualifying Events as well as several NFA7v7 Regional events and the coveted NFA7v7 National Championship. For a full schedule of events please click here.

What credit cards can I use to pay for membership & tournament entry fees?

Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted for membership. Each Official NFA7v7 event will accept payment in a different form. Please refer to that event's webpage (click here) for specific payment details.

How do I change the team I play for?

Your coach can change the team you play for.  Please have him contact info@NFA7v7.com to make the change.

How do I know if my team has been accepted to play in a tournament?

Every time a coach registers for an event, they will receive a confirmation email confirming entry.  Please check with your coach to confirm entry into the tournament.

Is there a limit to the number of teams I can play on?

Yes, each player can only play on one team during the NFA7v7 season.  If a player needs to transfer teams than he can do so by having his coach contact info@NFA7v7.com.

Is there a limit to the number of teams I can coach?

Yes, each coach can only be on one team during the NFA7v7 season.  

How does my team qualify for the NFA7v7 National Championship?

Teams must compete in Official Qualifying events sanctioned by NFA7v7. Depending on the tournament, a select number of teams will qualify/be invited to compete at the NFA7v7 National Championship.
